deffo CPU, LLLS and HLLs, networks, and everything from the last unit. Praying we don't get an evil 6 marker 😭

anyone finished ?

Yes, unusual 6-marker. Felt it went OK, I think. About the same or easier than some past papers? Which is not always a good thing for the boundaries.

Ngl, the 6 marker was nice. My classmates said they liked the paper, so I guess it was easy - it just happened to be that I hadn't revised the topics that came up 🥲 I wrote "extrachange" instead of "entanglement" for the qubit question because I knew that the word started with e but I couldn't remember it :banghead:

I really liked this paper I thought it was not as difficult as I had imagined. For the quantum question I was going to write entanglement but then I just said "They work in temperatures colder than deep space with low resistance" which was said in the textbook so idk if i got that mark but I also said that they used qubits so Im sure I got that one. The 6 marker was confusing at first I didn't imagine we'd get that but I don't think it was too bad I mostly talked about sensors and then also that you could connect it to a smartphone app that could use AI to give you suggestions and that the wearable tech could store personal bests in a small database to track things for athletes. For the lowest and highest value for the sign and magnitude I got -127 and 127, did you all get that too?

Yes to everything! My friends also mentioned the qubits, so you're good to go 🙂 The 6 marker was nice since it didn't require a lot of key terms.

Oh and what was that ethics question I saw smth like it on another past paper and was gonna write about professionalism but then I said "Being transparent with what data is used for" and "asking for consent to use people's data". Also for the Trace table I wasn't sure what to do but I did it with the input of 7 I put 7 as the number, set the boolean to False, and then in the row where we have the testnumber I did all numbers from 1-7 and for the display in the last line I put a 7. For the input of 9 I put the number as 9, the boolean false, and then testNumber 1 and filled in 2 and 3, and on the same line I set the boolean to true and did no display. Idk if that made sense but did you get smth similar?

i didnt even write entanglement for the qubit thing. i wrote that quantum computing can break strong encryption, which is correct according to chatgpt, but idk if it will be in the mark scheme.

loll i LOVED that 6 marker, thank god i own a smart watch, but i also wrote about robotic arms and legs cuz they said wearable technology.

yessss i got -127 and 127 too, also for the colder temperature thing chatgpt says its correct but idk about the mark scheme. it definitely sounds like u did well in the 6 marker.

for the ethics question i put that:

1.

software developers should take the proper time and dedication to develop the watches, they should not do a flimsy job because they want to make profit

2.

software developers should make it more accessible for the disabled, for example use subtitles for the deaf

omg for the tracetable question i might have failed it, my first testNum value for both input 7 and 9 was 2, not 1. idk i think im right.
