Are year 10 mocks used for predicted grades

Hi I am in year 10 and soon I will have my mocks, I am curious if this will affect the predicted grades sent to sixth as I really want to switch sixith forms. Some teachers say they will be used, others say they wont' can somebody please reply with ana answer. Thank you

Not really. They use the yr10 ones but if u do bad in them and good now then they have evidence to predict u higher. Even then, some subjects still might just base it on the yr 11 ones, in my experience.

It depends on your school - we don't use them but some schools may.

It depends on your school and how many mocks you have. I had year 11 mocks in November so those were the grades I used to apply to sixth form.
