a-level essay based exam structure tips

hi year 13 student here,
does anyone have any tips for structuring essays for English lit/sociology to prevent rambling and to hit all AOs as I find myself rambling and struggling to consolidate my thoughts (esp as I have adhd)
any last minute tips or examples of structure would be much appreciated!!

Good luck with you exam!! I always do topic sentence that sets out your point and key ideas for the paragraph, then everytime you put a quote analyse it then relate it back to the point you are making - keep asking yourself how does it support your point. The same with your context, link it to your point and how its reflected in society at the time, would explain why the writer has included it in their play/novel. I can send you some of my marked essays if you like? although it may not be useful depending on your texts
