Durham or LSE for politics and economics?

I've received offers from both but I'm not sure which to firm or insure.
While LSE is obviously better academics wise I really want a good social life at uni and have heard so many negative things about LSE students being very anti-social
I went to the Durham offer holder day and got really good vibes from the city and loved the collegiate system. I haven't had a chance to visit LSE so I'm not sure how to make my decision.
I also come from a state school so, while I know both are full of very privileged students, which social scene would I fit in better at?

I would definitely firm LSE because an offer with economics is going to be better than at Durham. LSE honestly only ‘international students’ are typically antisocial because of language barriers etc but if you’re in accommodation you’ll defo make friends, although it may be a bit easier at Durham. London based uni is also more expensive but there are so many more things to do and honestly its so much better. I would firm LSE and insure Durham (obviously if grades are safe) and then see on results day which one you feel you’ll prefer

Ahh ok. It’s just the international to home students ratio is crazy which makes it even harder to socialise and then obviously it’s significantly more expensive but I think I’d really regret not firming LSE- my heart says Durham but head says LSE
