Cardiff University best accomodation for Pharmacy

Hi, I've just firmed Cardiff for Pharmacy and now need to compile my list of accommodation. Really want an en suite but not one of those tiny bathrooms. Would prefer a sociable flat but also aware the course is quite full on so don't want somewhere too loud. Would also prefer somewhere close to the pharmacy building. Would love to hear your thoughts on what would suit be best to put in my top 5.

Hi!

Congratulations on receiving an offer and firming cardiff - good choice!!
Pharmacy is based in the Redwood Building, on our Cathays campus, but i'm not sure how much time, if any you might spend in the Heath Campus, where health sciences and medicine is based.
Private or uni accom, I would say the main difference, is in private, some won't be cardiff uni students, many are in there later years of uni (not first years), and/or are more mature students, of course there is still a range, this is just my understanding of the main differences.
I am sure you've seen the link, but this page allows you to filter preferences, like en-suites.
Based on the preferences, I would maybe look at Senghennydd, or Talybont Court or Gate. Talybont is the biggest area, so can be quite lively but also loud, hence suggesting ones on the end of the group of Talybonts (see map in booklet linked below). Senghennydd, is probably out second biggest, close to city centre and in Cathays where all the students (after first year especially) live.
Also I would definately check this booklet out for more information, and a useful map at the end!
Also if you can, you should come to an open day where you can visit the accommodations as well!

I hope this helps, good luck,
Any other questions let us know!
