why do people put their weight and height in their cv ahahahahahhhahaahah

i am currently reviewing cv from applicants and there was this guy who use microsoft word to create a table and put his weight and height in one of the rows

hahahahahahhahahhahahahahahhahahhahahahahahhahahhahahahahahhahahhahahahahahhahah:rofl:
I'd consider that unusual unless applying to e.g. a modelling job (in which case, that's actually probably pertinent information...). Context does make some difference as a result.

That said CV formats can vary widely between cultures and countries. It's absolutely expected in Germany to include a professionally shot portrait photograph on your CV as I understand for example - whereas in the UK that would be extremely unusual to include. Who can say if some other culture does normally include that (for better or worse) in a standard CV format?

Marital status on CVs used to be normal. Now not so much.

I can't help but feel that by making fun of job seekers you're possibly not the best person to be reviewing applicants.

Depends on what you are applying for however there are also people who stopped working to have a family and possibly think that marital status (which used to be normal) is still something that goes on CVs. I wouldnt use it as a benchmark for measuring anything. if anything i would probably find those candidates more interesting to talk to at an interview rather than robots who make fun of small idiosyncrasies to the extent that they need to make TSR thread about it. but thats just me who appreciates working with human beings with little quirks

Imagine you applied for this position. 3 weeks away from homelessness and the guy who reviewed your CV was taking the **** out of you on TSR.
