A level English Othello and Gatsby

Studying Othello and Gatsby (English Lang + Lit, Edexcel/Pearson) and I’m trying to come up with example comparison points for different themes that overlap but I’m struggling a bit with the themes below. I aim for 3 comparison points each. Would appreciate any help x
Theme: Friendship
— I watched an Othello conference and they spoke about how at the start, the friendships between women are weakest but at the end they are strongest (Emilia initially lies to D about the handkerchief and she doesn’t support Bianca against accusations of prostitution but at the end, Emilia dies for D). Not sure if this idea can be incorporated or not? If not, I’ll take advice for other comparison points
