which offer to firm

Hello.
I have offers for philosophy in UCL and psychology and philosophy in Durham and Warwick. I'm mostly torn between UCL and Durham rn as while UCL seems more competitive and is in London, the cost of living seems high, while Durham is much further away (I'm an international student) but the course seems nice and I really like the college structure, and it would be much cheaper to live there.
I would appreciate it a lot if someone in the same/ or similar situation could tell me how and why did you make your decision, or share some things about these unis
thanks

hey! I was in a similar choice last year between kcl and durham. I think as an international, durham college system would really help in assimilating to uni life and making friends quicker, joining societies and sports is also much easier. in terms of international students, both have a large number so not much different there. London, on the other hand, is obviously much bigger and you'd be able to meet more people. both are recognised as competitive uni and not massive difference between them so I wouldn't base your choice too much on that.

Psychology - or Psychology and Philosophy. How important is that 2nd subject to you. Are you interested in the cross-overs between the two subjects, the connections, the different approaches etc. Only you can answer this.
