Will breaking up with my partner affect my student loan ? Will I get more or less ? I have to mention that I earn minimum wage .

Yes , I’ve been with him since my first year of uni, and I added him as a partner and his income but we’re no longer together . Will it affect how much I get if I reapply for the last academic year as single /independent student ?

Hi Bianca,
Yes, we would require evidence to show your single status if you no longer live together (such as a council tax bill showing the single occupancy) and we can then assess you without his information. Thanks, Jason
