Tuition Fee Loan: Covers the cost of your course (paid directly to your university).
•
Maintenance Loan: Helps with living costs like rent, food, travel. The amount depends on your household income and where you’ll study (living at home or away).
•
You might also be eligible for extra support (e.g., if you have a disability, child, or low income).
•
You’ll need to set up an online account and fill in your personal details, and request the amount you might want - also dependent on how much you might be eligible for
•
You start repaying only once you’ve finished your course and are earning above the repayment threshold, they are automatic through your salary

We have 17 overall halls - definitely recommend looking at this booklet, it gives an overview on each accommodation, and a really useful map at the end!
•
Some key things to consider and key differences between them: Catering options (for uni-provided food or not), Facilities (e.g en-suites), Location (see the map as well to help), Budget.
•
If you can, and if you haven't already I would recommend coming to one of our open days, where you can visit some of the halls and see the general location - also it's a pretty good day!
