Year in Industry – King’s BSc Computer Science

Hey!
I’ve got a conditional offer for the 3-year BSc Computer Science course at King’s College London for 2025. I'm seriously considering switching to the 4-year version with a Year in Industry, since it would give me valuable work experience in London’s competitive tech scene.

If anyone else is planning to take this course, I’d love to connect! It would be great to share thoughts, plans, and maybe stay in touch before starting:smile:
Also, if anyone has advice or insights on the Year in Industry option, I'd really appreciate it!

Hi there! I've firmed an offer for CS at King's this year as well. I asked a student there about this same situation and they said that anyone doing the standard 3 year computer science course can be switched to the 'year in industry' pathway as long as they secure a placement for themselves for that year, and also need to get an average grade of 60% for the first two years which is certainly doable.
