I can't decide which i should put for my firm. Please help!!!

is UEA the 5 year course or the gateway one? If you're choosing between a 5 year vs a 6 year course I would go for the 5 year one since the extra year at kcl would cost upwards of 9.5k tuition plus at least 10k rent and any other living expenses. It also depends where you live though. If you live in London then it might be worth it. Weigh up the pros and cons of each and don't stress about it too much since I'm sure both are great.

UEA is the 5 year course and I do live in London so I'm not sure what to do

Hi! @EclipseZ 🙂
Firstly, a huge well done on your offers!!
I appreciate this can be a tough decision to make, but please rest assured you aren't alone!
In order to make the decision well, you have to consider factors such as:

The university campus/city. Have you been to both UEA and KCL? If not, I'd highly recommend you visit, it's not too late! Seeing both the university facilities and also the city (more for Norwich as you mentioned you live in London) can help you to make a decision. Ask yourself things like, do you want certain facilities to be close to you (e.g. gym etc...)?

Costs - You've mentioned you live in London, would you be commuting or still living in accommodation? If you are not commuting, bear in mind that London does have higher priced rent overall. If you want to have a look at UEA's accommodation to compare (including prices) you can have a look here : Student Accommodation Finder

The course - this is definitely a big one! Have a look at both courses and see which one you think would be a better fit for you. Do you mind that the course at KCL is longer? Does one have a different learning style that may suit you better? Again, attending applicant days at both universities will give you a more in depth idea of the course, but you also get to meet your future lecturers and classmates.

Whilst no one can make the decision for you, I hope this helps you think about which university course is right for you. Do let me know if you have any specific questions! 🙂

I mean if you happy with both equally and ur in yr 13 you could firm the uni with higher grade requirements as at least you have a back up as at least u get into med skl if u insure the lower grade requirement uni. But idk if you got contextual offer from uae which could mean your grade offer is the same as emdp or lower depends on what grade they offered u as if UAE is lower than kings u could insure uae. You could also decide on how long you want to be in med skl for as many opt for 5 year courses as they could start earning as docter earlier but some may want 6yr course as want to be in education longer. If feel more comfortable in London and live at home then KCL but if you wanna experience a new area and city and make friends usually through accom uae maybe better in t ht aspect. Rlly both seem great as med is med and they seem nice in different ways and congrats on those offers whichever you choose. Which are u leaning more towards?

Thanks for all your suggestions! I am leaning more towards Kcl due to the location. It's entry requirements is only ABB whereas UEA is AAA so I was wondering if I do choose to firm Kcl, does that mean I won't have an insurance since ueas offer is a higher grade? Is it bad to not have an insurance?

If you firm KCL since its grade requirement is lower than uea than that Basiclly means it doesn’t matter if you insure uae because if u miss ur grades u automatically go into clearing. For med it’s better to be safe than sorry and have both an firm and insurance coz I doubt there’s gonna be med clearing but if u rlly rlly want to go KCL u could still firm it but u would have no insurance and just tht.
