Has anyone completed a cybercrime assignment at university (criminology)
I wanted advice on passing this assignment if anyone has done this please let me know.
These are the learning outcomes :
For your assignment, you have to write a Report (2000 words) on one of the current areas of Cybercrime in the UK, and how the UK
Government is dealing with that particular issue. You will choose a particular type of cybercrime, such as:
• Cyber-stalking/cyber-harassment/cyberbullying,
• Child grooming/Child pornography/ child sex abuse imagery
• Extremist grooming /Radicalisation/White supremacists etc. /Incels/Misogynist groups etc.
• Cyber- online Financial Fraud / Bank accounts/ websites
• Political Hacking (e.g. fabrication, hoaxes, distortions, defamation, and social engineering).
• Any other current issues on cybercrime.
After choosing the issue, the report should focus on three core areas after choosing the topic:
• Explore the current debates, discussions, media, and public understanding and awareness of your chosen crime in the
form of a literature review;
• Critically examine existing policies, laws, criminal justice interventions/responses, and research around the issue in the
UK. You will analyse existing laws/policies/interventions and look at the gaps.
• Explore what other countries are doing on this issue and the best
