Bristol Offer for Mechanical & Electrical Engineering – Can I Switch to Aerospace Lat

Hi everyone,
I just received an offer from the University of Bristol for Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. I originally applied for Aerospace Engineering, but they offered me this alternative course instead.

Bristol was my top choice, and while I don’t mind Mechanical Engineering, I’m not so sure about the Electrical side of things. I’m a bit confused now — does anyone know if it's possible to switch to Aerospace later on if I accept this offer? Or at least focus more on the Mechanical side after the first year?

Any advice or experiences would really help!

Aerospace engineering is a subdiscipline of mechanical engineering, so yes.

I can't comment on what electrical engineering is like, but it's also useful should you decide to go into aerospace engineering.
