loughborogh Mechatronics vs Manchester Mechatronics

Hello!! I'm in year 13, I'm predicted A*AA in my A-Levels in Engineering, Physics, and Maths respectively; I've been offered a place at UoManc for Mechatronics, and it was going to be my firm choice, but upon research I discovered that Loughborough is higher ranking overall and ranked higher for this course than UoM. One reason I want to stick to UoM is that I have a good job here in Manchester, which I have only gotten recently (last 2-3 months), in addition to being close, etc, since I live here.

Can people who attend either of these courses give their opinions? I want to understand the quality of education, the range of projects available, and the placement opportunities.

Additionally, does Loughborough have a fashion club/society? My passion is more artsy, and I would like to attend it if available. Thank yewwww

Hello and sorry for the delay.

For societies - there's the design and creative arts society (https://lsu.co.uk/departments/Department_DesignandCreativeArts). They have an annual charity fashion show: @thelscfs on Instagram.
