Hiya! I'm starting my history course work now and I want to do the English civil war, but my school doesn't have much resource for it.
If anyone is doing the English civil war for their course work, can you please share some books and websites and also some possible questions

Are you being given total free reign by your school or are you deviating from something that they actually recommend (and teach)?
As a starting point for research, I would always visit your local library

We've been given (almost) complete freedom with our topics. Our teacher still has final as to whether we can do a topic or not but he said that the English civil war is definitely do-able and sounds interesting.
The history department has got a couple books of different topics but, my luck, they have nothing on the english civil war.
Thanks for the advice, I'll have a look in the library 🙂
