Imperial or Bristol

Hi I'm struggling to decide between my uni choices, I have offers for chemistry from Bristol and Imperial but I'm really unsure- I was really set on imperial when I received the offer so firmed it with Bristol as insurance (about 1/2months ago so may be harder to swap them) but the more I think about it I'm really unsure

I think imperial would be a really great opportunity and I'm not against living in London and I perceive it to be better for graduate opportunities (I'm undecided about future career) but I also don't want to miss out on a good university experience and I really liked Bristol when visiting

Also the accommodation is very expensive in for Imperial and in Bristol there's a much wider choice and from what I've heard social life is much better

If anyone has rejected Imperial for another uni or has gone and really enjoyed it any help would be really appreciated! I'm also aware of the accommodation deadline for Bristol if I change it to my firm is in early June whereas at Imperial it isn't open yet and id only find out in September just before id actually start (contextual offers for both so I'm not entirely worried about meeting the offers)
Thank you!

Hello! I wouldn't worry too much about accommodation because neither uni allocate on a first come first served basis. This year I rejected imperial in favour for Cardiff, I personally believe the strength of the student experience is more important than the prestige of the uni. Try not to worry about rankings, you are unlikely to end up unemployed with a STEM degree from an RG uni. People will try and pressure you to choose imperial but choose where you think you will be happiest. Life is short.

Ok thanks so much! I was a bit worried id miss the accommodation if I change my mind. Quite a few people are pressuring me to go the imperial but also for me not to go. Its just a hard choice as I think id always feel weird about rejecting imperial as it was instantly my favourite when visiting but Bristol was also really nice. Thanks so much for the reply!!

I mean you definitely need to apply before the deadline but don't worry about not being early! Good luck!
