Travel to UWE Bristol Glenside

Hi, i was wondering if anyone could give me any advice?
I got accepted into UWE bristol in September at glenside campus. I am planning to commute to and from university through trains and i was wondering how long it takes to walk from the closest train station and which station that would be?
Or would it be worth just driving a hour and a half to the university and parking there instead of getting the train and then walking to the uni?

Congrats on your offer to UWE Bristol 🙂

We have a handy travel page Getting to and from UWE Bristol campuses - Campus and facilities | UWE Bristol which has details of all the different ways to access our campuses and how to get there. For Glenside campus the closest train station would be Bristol Parkway and then you could get a bus from there to Glenside campus.

The webpage also includes parking information and how to apply for permits etc. if you did decide to go down that route. I hope this helps!

Hi Alice, Glenside is a good 20 min walk + from AbbeyWood station (right by the main site) or Parkway (another 10 mins walk) and there is very little parking near the station or main UWE campus. Glenside is in Fishponds area of Bristol where there is a lot of street parking (free) in residential areas surrounding it .
