City university diagnostic radiography

I recently got rejected from city university for diagnostic radiography however they got back to me saying i’m a strong applicant and i’ll be put on the waitlist and contacted if a space becomes available.
Will it be likely they’ll have spaces how is this possible?? did anybody else get put on the waitlist?

There is a still a chance since there are some people who don’t meet their offers. So they call people on tesults day who are on the waiting list to fill up the spaces.

but the weird thing is they said they can only give mean offer if a place becomes available before july 24thwhich is way before results day?

They’re probably waiting to see who chooses it as their firm or insurance?? Not sure! Maybe if people reject their offer by then there’s space in the programme
