Uni of Nottingham self catered

Hi
I am looking to go to notts and thinking about staying on campus to be catered. I read the meal plan description and found that its not catered over the winter break, with a 39 week contract only giving 35 weeks of catered weeks.

how does this work during this time, do you still get the £25 each week, but is anything even open in this period? Does this then get expensive that month?
