How do you feel about asking someone out?

I think many teenagers and adults are too nervous and shy about asking someone out. I understand, you don't know how they're going to respond or whether they've got a partner, and maybe you feel you aren't good enough. However, what your mind tells you can conflict with what you really want. If you take a shot and ask you shouldn't regret it, even if they reject you. If you take risks and dive into your desires results are usually good. Take a chance and don't let anybody or anything influence you.

I blush, my cheeks go red. And I go shy.

I understand, it's not easy when you're young to just be yourself without feeling timid in these situations.

I've asked out a number of people in the past. All of them said no. Occasionally there are things that make me feel like I could have some success but it's never happened.
