Law at NTU

i’ve put down NTU as my insurance choice just in case i don’t get into UON, just wondering if it is actually worth going.
Does it lead to successful high salary degrees or is it really just a waste? i don’t want a degree that doesn’t get me anywhere :frown:
Hi @ridzxs,

It's great to hear you've made us your insurance choice! We're wishing you all the best this coming exam season.
Our previous Law graduates have gone on to be successful in careers as solicitors, barristers, and in-house counsel, following completion of the Solicitors Qualifying Exam, LLM Barristers Training Course (BTC) or PGDip BTC.

As well as this, the course covers a wide range of transferrable skills, which have seen graduates go on to investment banking, market analysis, as well as find roles as victim support caseworkers, auditors, and quantity surveyors. Part of this is due to our course's emphasis on real-life skills that will make you stand out from the crowd and enhance your employability. You'll also have the opportunity to gain practical experience on a half-year work placement, and be encouraged to undertake summer placements to apply your knowledge and gain valuable experience.

We also have our on-campus teaching law firm, NLS Legal; it's the only one of its kind amongst all UK universities. Students from all years can work with NLS Legal and are involved in all aspects of the running of our law firm, from dealing with new enquiries and helping monitor risk and compliance, to conducting client interviews, undertaking relevant research, drafting letters of advice and even representing clients at tribunal.

I hope this helps, if you have any questions let us know!
