Durham college allocation

Anyone who went through the allocation last year, how long did it take for you to find out your preliminary allocation after the deadline/ start date (ours is the 12th may)?

not sure if you mean deadline to fill it in or deadline for which you receive it. either way I got mine 20th may last year so would expect it to be roughly the same

Does anyone know when colleges may contact you asking about room preferences (if your college even does that)?
Just wondering if it’s a post results day sort of thing or something which happens earlier.
