Student finace application with guardians issue

I'm trying to apply for student finance but I live with my aunts and uncles and have since my mother died when I was a 3, my father has never been in the picture and I have no idea of his identity or contact, my only family is my aunts and uncles who I live with but I cannot put those details in the application. I can prove guardianship but I don't what else I need, can I apply as an independant student?
