OCR GCSE Computer Science thoughts?

Personally, I think it went extremely well, probably the easiest exam I've ever done. I revised a lot for it and I even woke up at 5:30am to do some last minute cramming but I think it wasn't necessary because it was extremely straight forward. I literally finished it in around 45 minutes. How did everyone else feel?

I don't know why I am here I did not revise for it but it was genuinely so easy but some things I didn't know like the switch question but lowk I feel like I'll get a 6 or 7 or sum

How did we answer the Optical and SSD question?

I was quite confused on that one. I switched between solid state to optical back to solid state because optical is like CDs and imo they're more negative than positive. SSDs are better because they're more durable, cheaper per byte, faster read/write speeds. Honestly I think I would've put optical because he's trying to transfer and SSDs aren't really portable like that.

I thought Optical devices could transfer data whilst SSDs couldn't

I went on about:
Not updating the devices can cause security vulnerabilities, increasing chances of it getting hacked
If it's cheaper to produce the company can sell it for cheaper, making it more accessible.
Purchasing the newest devices each time will have a negative impact on the environment due to greenhouse gas emissions.
Not all materials in the computer are recyclable, and can harm the environment.
People might not have enough money to buy the newest device.
This can cause a social divide
I probably went on about a lot more but I do terrible on these 8 markers.

I talked about worker's exploitation in China e.g.

Also about it solving inconveniences about taking longer times for updates.
