Yeah that was odd - a similar 2 marker came up in the specimen paper. If I hadn’t seen that i would have not known how to do it…

I found it alright, was the volumes of revolution 5 marker meant to take so long???

I mean I spent ages on it too because you had to integrate 4 things by hand and then sub and then simply and it was all done without calc help so yea deffo took me like 10-15 mins

The last question was so annoying because as far as I know you needed to be able to remember the sum of cubes to be able to get all 3 roots which was just so annoying because you never had to do that before there were always another method to use so yea deffo lost some marks there

Yea I meant there were 4 terms not 4 different integrals my bad ? But having those 4 terms meant you had to later sub in 12 and -12 4 times each.

What are u chatting about it's just the sum of the roots is -b/a which is 21 and the product of the roots is 91 (-d/a) which u can solve and form an equation to get alpha or beta then find the other one then u have the roots. It took quite long tho
