English Lit, History, RS and Politics- i’m just mostly worried because none of my teacher have ever given us an in class, no notes timed essay so our first one is going to be the mocks and then these decide my uni application grades

Look for pre-made notes online or use Seneca
Blurt on content
Use flashcards (you can make them using pre-made typed notes on some sites)
Plan essays
Do timed practices and get feedback
Read examiner reports and model answers

Hi! I’m Nally and currently studying Media, Communications and Sociology at City St George’s, University of London.

I totally get how you’re feeling right now A-level mock revision can feel overwhelming, but you’re definitely not alone!

What really helped me when I was preparing for my A-levels was breaking everything down into smaller chunks instead of trying to revise everything at once. I made a realistic timetable (with breaks!) and focused on one topic at a time. Once you’ve gone through a topic, do practice questions straight away. Flashcards also helped me a lot (I liked using Quizlets), teaching the topic out loud.
After you have covered all the topics, try to practice under a real exam environment, set the timer and do it within the time frame, then check the answers with the mark schemes. Practicing past papers will help you familiarize yourself with types of answers and keywords that they are looking for. Time your time to comprehend the mark schemes and go over the mistakes you make.
Take breaks, get some fresh air and practicing a bit every day.

Good luck with your mock exam!
