help! can someone tell me whether i failed english gcse
im rlly worried abt the english exam today (poetry + prose). poetry was good bc i knew the poem very well.
for prose im doing rebecca and for the exam i did the whole-text qs which was abt 'how was maxim and rebecca's relationship memorably revealed throughout the book?'
i was wondering whether anyone could tell me whether my points were good (truthfully) as well as good enough to get a grade 9
1) the deception of their marriage -> rebecca saying how shell be the 'perfect wife' and 'perfect mother' etc 2) maxim's reactions to rebecca (the manderley ball scene) 3) the use of setting to foreshadow (blood-red rhododenrons)
im generally good with english - ive never gotten a bad english score (lowest ever is 20/25) and in the mock i got 25/25 for the drama, 23/25 for rebecca
i also never know how well i do in english - i sobbed in my end of year 2 years ago and thought id get 60% but got 90%
i really need to get an 8/9 in english as its a requirement for the sixth form im entering next year
im so stressed bc 50% of my grade is decided alr - i have the drama on thursday (streetcar named desire)
does anyone have any advice on how to solidly get a 9 and also not let the anxiety from this exam take over?
