Hello
I have received all my decisions on UCAS and am hoping to study medicine.

I have offers from
Plymouth for biomedical science, alternative course as I was rejected from medicine
Reading for physician associate. Although I have heard that this is not a good career path as there are few jobs available.

I am on the Sunderland waitlist for medicine.

I am not keen on any of the offers I have got and would like to go through UCAS extra and apply for biomedical science or biomed engineering at a uni closer to home.

Am I able to do this while remaining on the Sunderland waiting list? As I won’t be applying for another medicine course.

Thanks

Hi there,

I am not sure about this, I would recommend contacting our student helpline directly on [email protected]. You can also call them on 01915153000

Hi there! 👋

Congratulations on your offer for biomedical science at Plymouth! 😊

As a current undergraduate student (studying a different course), I'd be more than happy to answer any questions you might have about the campus, city, university, or student life, so feel free to reach out if you're unsure about anything/keen to know more from a student perspective!

Best of luck! 🙌
