Can’t help but dwell

The last thing wanted was to come out of the exam and doubt myself after hearing what everyone else had wrote.. but I have!
For my Macbeth question on ambition I wrote from the beginning, the witches and banquo, lady Macbeth’s ambition and how their guilty conscience caused them their downfall etc.. I wrote 6 paragraphs (3 and a few lines of pages) then rushed my a Christmas carol question on kindness. When I saw how little time I would have liked to have on the second question I only managed to write a thesis and how kindness is presented in the extract.. all together I work the 5 pages which is so good for me but I can’t help but think I didn’t do it right and haven’t passed…. Even though I was going to do English lit at a level.
Hay ho I still have English lit paper 2 I suppose:/

Hey! I wouldn't dwell on it, as you said you still have an entire paper, and not finishing every essay doesn't mean you're going to get a bad grade. I barely ever managed to finish my answers at GCSE (I don't think I ever wrote a single conclusion) and still got a 9- as long as what you wrote was good those marks will counterbalance those you may have lost in the other question.
Perhaps to prevent this from happening in paper 2, I'd recommend to work on planning shorter answers - I would only ever write 3 paragraphs - and to make sure to stick to the plan in the exam. Also, I'd suggest to stick to the timings - keep an eye on the clock and if you see that you've ran out of time for your first question, move onto the next even if you haven't finished writing.
Good luck with the rest of your exams!
