Your GCSE grades do not matter that much to unis. The basically only look at your english and maths grades and all you have to do for most of them is get a grade 5 or 4 depending on the uni in both English and maths. They look more at your A level predicated and achieved grades as well as your personal statement than they do at your gcse grades

Based on the grades you got, I think you will be fine as you didn’t get below a 6 in anything. I got an 8 in maths and 6 in both englishes and I got offers from all the unis I applied to

Hi there!

I've had a look at the entry requirements for each of the Unis you specified, looking at their Accounting and Finance courses:

LSE

'several' GCSES at grades 7-9

Minimum of a 6 in English Lang and Maths

Will also consider your overall GSCE profile

Warwick

Need a 7 in at least one humanities or science subject

Need a 6 in English Lang

Usual requirement for Maths (4)

KCL
Doesn't say anything about GCSEs on entry requirements for Accounting and Finance, but their website says this:
'Some programmes require students to have achieved a certain standard(s) at GCSE (or equivalent below) in addition to higher qualifications (such as A-levels). For example, students applying for a degree leading to registration as a nurse or midwife must have achieved five GCSEs at grade C or above, including English Language, Mathematics and Science.'

QMUL

Minimum of 5 passes (4)

English (lit or lang) at grade 4 minimum

Maths at grade 7 minimum

I also checked another couple of Universities around the UK:

Durham

Minimum 6 in Maths

Usual grade for English (4)

Liverpool

Minimum 5 in Maths

Usual grade for English (4)

As you can see, all the above Unis have slightly different GCSE requirements! These are all in the entry requirements section for the courses online, so you can check for more unis there. If they aren't specified it is worth getting in touch with their admissions staff to check. As you can see, most require a 6 minimum in Maths and Eng, which you have achieved, as well as the extras that some require too, so I wouldn't worry about your grades stopping you from getting offers

Hope this helps!

4 A levels ....maths physics biology and chemistry

For A&F this is totally pointless. The only required subject is Maths, and some Unis may prefer you to also have FM. Taking Physics, Chem, and Bio will not give you any advantage. Why are you taking 3 science subjects for A&F...?

Unis are not 'impressed' by 4 A levels and you run the risk of messing up all your grades. Remember, AAA will always look better than ABBB and that could cot you a Uni place.

To be honest, these unis have these requirements sure, but their offers are always way higher (except for a tiny proportion of extenuating circumstances/contextualisation or exceptional applicants in other areas). For unis such as LSE your GCSEs do need to be really good so while obviously you should apply, accounting and finance is a very competitive program at top unis, and lots of applicants will have all 8/9s. Just try to do as many super curriculars/get as good in A levels as you can, but manage your expectations for the top top unis, because while their official requirements may be 'several grades 7-9,' in reality it is really hard to get in even with straight 9s. But good luck
