Awaiting sponsor 1 details
Hi,
In my application, all my actions are completed aside from "awaiting sponsor 1 details". I did apply for higher maintenance loan, but my "sponsor 1" has declined to share financial information, meaning I am only expecting to receive the minimum maintenance now. However, despite declining, my application is still stating they're waiting to receive the details. Will it eventually update, or do I need to call sfe to remove my sponsor 1 details?

Hi there, applications can eventually time out, and apply the basic award after a unspecified period of time. However, if your application is currently only being held for sponsor financial information, you can contact us either over the phone (0300 100 0607) or via live chat. To access our live chat service from your online account, select 'undergraduate' and then ‘contact us’. From here you will be able to use our live chat service when it is available. Our opening hours are stated on our ‘contact us’ page. You can request that your application be non means tested only, and this can be referred to the assessment team to request this for you and this would allow the sponsor request to be removed.
