The Student Room Group

will there be a problem?

I have taken CS paper 1 on 9.5.2025.
I also took IG after passing Secondary 1 and skipped the grade.
I don't want to continue attending the school I am currently attending and want to do home school.
If I apply to community college after finishing IG, will there be a problem with skipping the grade?

Sorry I'm a little bit confused, could you explain a bit further?

What is IG?
It sounds like you've been entered for a Computer Science qualification where you've done 1 exam already?
Are you therefore expected to be sitting some more exams in the next few weeks?

i think they mean:
An IGCSE exam is the International General Certificate of Secondary Education, a globally recognized qualification for secondary school students. It's similar to the GCSE in the UK but offered internationally and has a more flexible curriculum.

Oh, IG is supposed to mean iGCSE?
I've never seen it referenced in that way.
