Experience UoS Residential

Guys I’ve just been accepted to this Residential for Biological, however I have a slight problem. My School has a compulsory residential to the University of Warwick and Bath on July 14th to 15th (going Warwick on Day 1 and Bath on Day 2) But Experience UoS is on 15th July - 18th July and relates more to the subject choice I want to do at uni. The thing is tomorrow I get to know whether I’ve been accepted into the Pathways to Bath residential which is a week after my School Residential. So I was thinking I would go to Warwick only then Southampton and the week later Bath but I’m not sure my school will allow us leaving half way through the residential, and I really want to apply to UoS. Help what to do!

Given that you're "not sure my school will allow us leaving half way through the residential", the obvious thing to do would be to explain the situation to them, as you've done above, and ask. Note that even if they say yes, you'll almost certainly need to organise your own transport from Warwick to Southampton.

It would probably make sense to wait until tomorrow before asking, given then then you'll know whether or not you've been accepted into Pathways to Bath residential. (It'd be much easier to justify missing the school-organised single-day residential to Bath if you're on the Pathways to Bath residential anyway.)

Thank you soo much. Honestly I really just need the timetable for the school residential since they’ve been very vague.

Another reason to ask them about this.

All is good now. I’ll be staying overnight in Bath and will travel to Southampton.
