AQA EPQ Grade Boundaries

I got 44/50 for my EPQ, my supervisor gave me 45 but the teacher who runs EPQ in my school took me down a mark bc I didn’t write enough in project Q according to him, is there any chance this could go up to an A* after AQA moderation or not?

Assuming the grade boundaries haven't changed since last year then 45 is the threshold for an A*, but if the general trend for the 2025 cohort is lower then the grade boundaries could lower proportionally.

However you could also get marked up if AQA moderation thinks the choices by your supervisors are too harsh and they believe you reach the threshold for 45/50. I don't know how often AQA does this but it could happen for you.

Regardless, 44/50 is a really good score!
