History of medicine gcse edexcel

I want to get a grade nine so badly I normally get almost full marks on this paper but I need to recap all the content before the exam and I have business on the same day which is also very content heavy does anyone have tips on how to recap all the content (which I usually do for every subject anyways to refine every detail) and if anyone has flashcards that would be great also. Thank you good luck everyone

I have this exact same problem with business and history too I’m so stressed for that day 😭
Not sure how much I can help as I’m always only just scraping that 9 but what I’m going to do is blurting info on my whiteboard and having someone test me with flashcards.
I’m also probs going to get lots of past papers up on my laptop and plan answers for the WW1, 12, and 16 mark questions to test my knowledge and exam technique but there’s probably no point doing full papers at this point with the little time left.

What do you think about the edexcel grade boundaries because they get me so worried as how come we can only lose about 18 marks over 3 papers and still only be on the cusp of the nine while other exam boards are way lower. Idk if it’s just me who find this annoying because so often I’m just one mark off and I plan on doing history at a level and uni so I’ll be really upset if I stay stuck on the boundary. it just feels impossible to be safely into the boundary for me, so was wondering what you thought?

Good luck

Thank you so much! I’m so stressed about the grade boundaries as well. Also, is there any chance you could send me your flashcards if possible as I’ve only made them for a few of the medicine topics just not industrial and that’s the most important really

Sorry they’re physical flashcards 😭. Why don’t you check on Quizlet and see if there are any completed sets there?

How did it go? In the end I didn’t need flashcards, I realised they don’t work best for me.

I feel like I flopped on the 12 marker but the 16 was alright, I picked the second option about the government and hospitals. Wbu?

I think it was good. Personally the twelve marker was good and I also chose the second sixteen marker but I simply ran out of time so it was quite brief. I wrote a conclusion to try and at least get into a higher band. We will just have to see then. Good luck on the next ones and everything else!
