Second undergrad exception degree after Pgce
Hello I am about to complete my PGCE but I would like to study psychology as I don’t think I’ll be able to be a teacher long term. On student finance when I apply it says I am unable to apply because I have a PGCE but I though that psychology was one of the exception degrees. Could someone tell me if I can get funding and if so how do I apply.

Hi there, To qualify as an exception the Psychology course must be one of the following levels:

•
joint honours degree
•
integrated masters degree.

Hi yes it is classed as part time as it is through distance learning. How would I apply for the student finance is it won’t let me online

Hi there, if you are unable to apply online, then you can complete the Part Time paper application, this can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/student-finance-forms
This can be posted to the postal address on the application form. This is currently taking an estimated 6-8 weeks for review. Thanks, Stephen.
