Guildford School of Acting vs. Mountview vs. Royal Central: MA Musical Theatre

From the research I've done on my own, these three school seem to be the biggest three that offer a masters course in music theatre training. I was hoping to get some opinions from other drama students who have a good amount of knowledge of these three school in regard to which provides the "best" training. Thanks!

Not sure about MA but I know Mountview has an excellent reputation for BA MT. Lots of those in musicals in the London shows studied there (looking in programmes). A former student at my children's school did the BA MT at Mountview and loved it. She's now cruising the Caribbean doing musicals on-board and having a great time!

For Acting, Central tops the list reputation wise and might still beat Mountview internationally but I'm not sure. I would say GSA sits at the bottom of your list. Again, I am basing this on BA knowledge, so not sure how MA would factor in this. (My knowledge is primarily Acting.)

It might be worth looking at MA outcomes/destinations for each school to help you decide.

Crikey I wouldn't put GSA at the bottom of the list for Musical Theatre. Absolutely not. Another one to bear in mind if you're after an MA as opposed to a BA would be the Royal Academy Masters in Musical Theatre. That is a fantastic training ground and many of those students become very successful performers. In the other places you mentioned, the Masters possibly plays second fiddle to the BA - NOT the case at RAM. Very very prestigious and difficult to get into, though!
