diagnostic radiography with BBC at liverpool

so i’ve received an offer from liverpool for diagnostic radiography and i need to get BBB in my a levels. obviously it’s exam season and im starting to get stressed in case i don’t get the grades. what if i got BBC, would i still be able to get in?? does anyone have any info or experience on this, just anything would benefit!

Pick up the phone and call admissions at Liverpool.
Explain what you’re worried about and ask if the normally have any flexibility and if they do what they take into account

i was thinking about doing that. is it a common thing for people to do? like does it not come off as like not hardworking enough or something?

It’s exactly the sort of question admissions staff are paid to answer.
Often it’s something that a course/department will explain as part of offer holder/applicant visit days.
Staff know that being worried or lacking confidence on your grades doesn’t mean that you won’t get the grades.

A little late but just in case you haven’t gotten the answers you needed yet. In some cases universities can give you a contextual offer if you have special circumstances.

Whilst it’s not Diagnostic Radiography, I do know a friend who studied at University of Liverpool (applied for a different degree) and got BBB when they needed ABB. However, Diagnostic Radiography is a very popular course so chances are it’s up to the admissions team.

Not at all, it just shows you are taking precautions. A lot of universities are lenient if the grades are not too far from the original offer as they take into account more than just grades for example, work experience. I know many people that did not meet the grade requirements but still got their firm choice.
