Accommodation/housing in Cardiff

I am a University of Bath student starting a placement in Cardiff in September 2025 but I have no accommodation. Where do you recommend I try to find a place to live for a year as I’ll be working in Cathays park? Is it too late for me to find affordable places to live?

Unite are pretty good! Try Adams Garden maybe?

Well done on your placement!

As other have said, Unite Students and other privately owned student halls are a decent option.

I also would recommend checking out the website SpareRoom, where students, landlords and professionals alike put up adverts for a spare room available. There's usually always quite a lot of places to rent in Cathays, at decent prices as well, so it shouldn't be an issue :smile:
