Postgraduate Master’s Loan as an EU national

Hello,
My postgraduate loan has not been approved because I didn’t provide a UK address. I’ve been asked to confirm my address if I will be living in the UK at the start of my course.

I’ve just signed a tenancy agreement for the 2025/26 academic year.
Would it be fine to just write them the address of where I’ll be residing, or would I need to add a document for proof?

Thanks.

Hi there, have you received any correspondence in relation to this? You can send a signed and dated covering letter advising where you will be living (full address and post code, with dates etc.). We would advise to check for any correspondence that has been sent as this will normally advise the required actions needed to allow this to be updated. Thanks, Stephen.

It was a letter in the “emails & letters” section of my SFE account, and I was asked to confirm my address if I will be living in the UK. I was unsure on whether it required proof as well.

Hi again, this can be confirmed over the phone to an advisor, if you call 0300 100 0031 (Monday to Friday from 8am to 7pm), they can assist you with this, evidence may not be required, only confirmation. Thanks, Stephen.
