Help with application- Civil partnership finance details??

So, I've applied for student finance and now it's asking for my partner's details. We don't share finances. I work full time and so does she and we don't share anything.

But the application is treating me as her dependant? Does she have to provide her financial info?

Also, she is starting university next year, so if SFE is thinking I'm her dependent, how does that reflect on her own application?

Honestly, the application has been nothing but stress for me. I really don't understand bureaucracy.

Hi there, do you live with your partner? Will you be aged 25 or over at the start of your course? If so, then we are required to take the household income into consideration.
When your partner applies we will then ask her to provide your income details, however if you are still in studies you will not have an income (SFE support in not classed as income) so you just indicate this at the time of supporting the application) and we assess based on that information. Thanks, Stephen.

Hi, thank you for your response. I'm 22 and we don't live together.

Hi again, thank you for the clarification. When you applied, did you apply as an independent student? Or under the Self support option of the application? Thanks, Stephen

Hi, I think I applied as independent? I said I'm married/civil partner and haven't been asked for parent details so I'm assuming I'm independent. Honestly, filling out forms/paperwork goes over my head but I'm pretty sure.

Thank you so much for your help.

Hi there. Is that correct are you married or in a civil partnership? If so, do you have evidence to provide to show this? Thanks, David
