Stressed - AQA A level english literature A comparison q

I know I can’t change anything now but for the Gatsby and Poetry comparison question I chose faithfulness and loyalty in love. I did a solid thesis, and introduced that Both to his coy mistress and the great gatsby suggest distance affect faithfulness and loyalty. I then spoke about the river ganges element in his coy mistress which is a stark contrast to our speaker is just in hull and i compared it to the context of the time that shows exploration - he is willing to make a journey to stay committed. I drew parallels to this with gatsby and the water, the water connotes a distance between him and daisy but he still stretches his hand across the dark water which shows struggle, yet endeavor for romantic commitment, also linking to the context of the american dream and idealized pursuits.

Then, I did something silly - I said all 3 texts Sonnet 116 , To his coy mistress, and the great gatsby show how time affects love. Gave the clock metaphor for gatsby - caught the clock with trembling fingers, juxtaposition between catching the clock and his trembling fingers which shows control but also not in control, and linked this back to his yearning for faithfulness in his relationship. Linked this to sonnet 116 and how the personification of love survives tempests, showcasing it as an emotion, when loyalty is applied, that survives even the most incredible things. But then I didn’t have time to write about to his coy mistress even tho i introduced it in the paragraph and i started my conclusion instead but forgot to finish it, all because of time constraints!

What am I capped at? Could i still get into band 4 based on the info provided?

Thanks

hey, I wouldn't stress about not being able to finish every essay, and your arguments sound good. I literally didn't finish a single essay in my A-level exams and got into band 4 so as long as you've got enough in what you've written, the fact it's unfinished shouldn't matter too much.
