Does SFE ask for bank details even if you aren't taking the maintenance loan?

Hey, so I submitted my Student Finance application for next year, and I got the email that it was received, and in the "Actions to complete" part it says I need to provide bank details?
But I am not applying for a maintenance loan? And when i was doing the application it said I dont need to provide it - so im just a bit confused lol
Also i am kinda paranoid that i applied for second year again rather than third year xDD - any way to check this online? I tried going in the "View and Manage Your Applications" part but couldnt find it - unless im just being super dumb lol

Hi there. Did you apply for any bursary through your University? Also, on your Notification of Entitlement letter it will confirm the year of your course you have applied for, you can view this in your "Inbox" online, does this confirm you applied for the correct year? Thanks, David

hello! I did apply for any bursary's or anything - i looked through my applications last year and I still had to provide my bank details so i guess they just ask that (idk if i need to, but i did anyway)
everything is fine now 🙂 - i did apply for the right year, I just got the approval letter / email in the morning so its all good now!
