I think I got diversity hired

I need someone to tell me if I’m overthinking or that this might be true, I recently got hired for an engineering company which I know is like only 20% female employees.
I am the only woman who got hired for my scheme and one of about 4 women that got hired out of a big group (~30) of us for the graduate scheme.
I was really surprised I got hired bc my interview wasn’t great - I stumbled over my presentation a lot and I lacked knowledge on what projects they were doing at the work and asked a few silly questions, I’m also not as qualified as everyone else as I did a different degree and have little to no engineering experience. I signed my contract after my offer bc I’m really interested in the work, but now I feel so sad about it and think I should double-back.
I feel like I only got hired because I’m a woman and it was just to tick a box, I don’t want to join a workplace if that was my only point because I don’t want to feel like the dumb one of the group. I’m really worried this was the case and if anyone knows can you tell if engineering companies will hire based on diversity? And if it’s a bad idea to do a job because of this?

honestly I feel like if you enjoy the work, and you feel that you can progress in the company/this career you should stay and use the opportunity regardless of why you were hired, but honestly I do understand why you’d be hesitant as it may be a bit demeaning but again, just see it as an opportunity for you to let yourself explore a new field and potentially flourish. If it doesn’t work out and the people in the company end up treating you in a way which you don’t appreciate you always have the option to leave afterwards. Essentially, just give it a go and it may work out for the better

You are overthinking this.
You have been offered the job because they think you are the right person for that job.
Stop doubting yourself - go and celebrate.
