UCL one Poole street commute to Bloomsbury

Hi. I got one Poole streeet but I’m studying at Bloomsbury. I’ll try to swap but I know it’s pretty hard to find someone to swap with. Are there any students who currently commute like this and how tiring is the journey? Do you wish you lived closer and how much does it cost? Thanks.

not a ucl student but live in london and had to commute a similar distance into town for years for secondary school. it's not as busy as it once was (though still quite busy so could be a bit draining). cost is obv not ideal but you can bring it down if you load your railcard onto a student oyster, which takes 1/3 off your weekly cap, meaning that for the whole week you'll pay about £30. to and fro, with the 1/3 discount, its about £4.70

Thanks! I actually do currently travel a hour ish to school (train+ walking) so I am used to the whole travelling idea but I just feel like it’s an added stress when I’m living in a completely new city and have to juggle living alone + medicine which has a lot more work hours. So I just feel like I’ll be even more drained than I am now and I may as well pay a bit more to get accomm closer.
