I'd recommend getting in touch with either the Department of Economics (email: [email protected], phone: +44 (0)1904 323788) or with our undergraduate admissions team (email:[email protected], phone: +44 (0)1904 324000). They should be able to offer more advice on the likelihood of you being accepted onto the course if you miss the entry requirements.

However, they might not know, as a lot of this depends on how many people meet their offer. For example, if a course's places fill with people who all met their offer requirements, then people who missed their offer wouldn't get a place. But, if only half the course's places fill with people who met their offer requirements, then the department would likely open the other places on the course to those who slightly missed their offer. Does that make sense?
