LIPA or West London

Ive received offers for both University of West London (Popular Music Performance) and LIPA (Music (Popular, Contemporary, and Commercial)), and am struggling to decide what to select as my first choice. Can anyone that has experience in either of the courses let me know if they're decent? Is it better to be in London or Liverpool for this kind of degree?

My advice is to look at alumni outcomes if uou can, that will give you a good indication of how respected it is in the industry. LIPA is known within the industry but not sure about the music side. I would synthetic same and look at alumni destinations.

All institutions will say they're one of top in the UK blah blah blah but take it with a pinch of salt. It's an awful lot of money, so do your research and make sure you will get maximum impact for uour time and money

Wolksky makes a very valid point, which you should bear in mind. Living in London will cost you double+ what you would pay in Liverpool. I know as my daughter has just completed an acting foundation in LIPA and is now moving to London this September (the increase is painful). She has absolutely LOVED Liverpool, it's everything you want from a city but is compact and very affordable!

It is also known as London College of Music. They are a pretty decent music/drama exam board for graded exams but in terms of a degree course, LIPA is by far the more prestigious institution.
