How late is too late to transfer uni?

Basically a very long story short my uni has announced that a lot of courses are at risk of being cancelled including mine, however the more I’ve thought about it the more I’m hoping that it happens. So I’ve kinda come to the decision that I transfer regardless, the only issue is that is is obviously heading towards summer and I’m wondering how late is too late for trying to transfer for second year entry?

Have a look on UCAS for universities open to applications for year 2 for your course and then get your application in asap.

It’s not too late right now but transfer applications do take some time to process so it’s important not to delay too much.

Hi there,

I wouldn't necessarily say its too late but it will depend on the course and which university. I would recommend emailing the university you would like to transfer to and see if they are taking transfers still.
