denied extra time in GCSEs, even though…

here i am once again having a problem. my first exam was sociology, and i thought i had extra time, as i have a CLINICAL CERTIFICATE (albeit a foreign one) that i showed to my school that grants me it: however i also had to do some sorta test with an examiner (?) before my exams and in that test i obviously wrote quickly, as i just had to make up random stuff, but OBVIOUSLY it’s different in exams where i have to THINK about how to plan the answer and process my answer. i wasn’t told that i didn’t qualify for extra time, and i missed on like two or four 4 markers to which i could’ve easily answered to. for the other exams, i didn’t really struggle without extra time, however in today’s history exam i missed on an 8 marker and a 12 marker to which again i could’ve easily answered, and it’s really frustrating me. all this seems weird to me, isn’t this suable?? not like im gonna do anything about it, as i would probably have to repeat the exams in their entirety and i don’t really enjoy the idea, but i could give it a thought.

Im sure you can talk to your SENCO, Or the exams officer and try to reason stuff with them. Or im sure if possible but try writing/submitting an appeal to the exam board with your reasoning!

I was in a similar situation with rest breaks! I swear I could be doing so much better in exams if I had them but my school blamed me for not getting it organised. Apparently it's past the deadline as it needed to be submitted back in March unless your a special case (but teachers are lazy so won't...)
